I had resumed some poor eating habits and was feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. Pants were tight at the waist and I often felt bloated. I was a bit skeptical starting a challenge cleanse rather than a traditional diet but you proved me wrong. By eliminating some unhealthy ingredients and learning how to eat closer to nature, my body was totally retrained. I am a huge carb craver and after the first week I really had no desire to eat anything that wasn’t recommended for that day. In fact, I never even felt hungry! You provided really interesting recipes that I will continue to use moving forward.
Your thoughtful and motivational emails each day provided the “courage” to keep going. I successfully stuck with it and am super proud of myself! Thank you for you time and attention in helping all who know you live better and healthier lives!Cindy
I have struggled with my weight my entire life, even since childhood. I have tried EVERYTHING!! I had been following Barb this last year or so and had been trying my own version of a clean eating lifestyle.
It was working but I realized I needed the support, and guidance of a professional. The menu, the structure, the suggestions and forum has allowed me to change bad habits and still enjoy food without guilt. In my first 28 day challenge, I lost 14.5 lbs and I feel my body transforming!

I signed up to drop a few pounds and learn more about healthy eating, and that was accomplished.
An abridged version of what I learned:
- Planning is key for all the cooking (and then cleaning) necessary, so having all of what I needed at my finger tips was helpful.
- The recipes were SO tasty and my entire family enjoyed many of the meals with me.
- The biggest surprise, is that I really don’t miss cheese! And my skin looks better, as dairy isn’t great for women
- Don’t beat yourself up if you go off the plan a little or a lot. Forgive yourself and get right back on track.
- When out for lunch or dinner I was able to stick to the plan pretty much, which was great.
- A challenge for me was/is when I cook I like to have some wine and when out a drink, so I did my best and didn’t make a big deal if I imbibed.
- You get out what you put in. In my case I know I would have lost more weight if I stuck to the plan more closely, yet I made the choices and I am fine with it and I feel great!
I look forward to the 42 day plan, and will stick to it more closely.
I would and did recommend this to friends, one of whom is doing the 28 day challenge.

I decided to participate because I wanted to lose a few pounds (10!) and knew that I would need structure to keep me on track.
Between my work events and an active social schedule, there are a lot of temptations. I knew that unless I had a program to follow and support, I would be making exceptions and excuses and wouldn’t be successful.
The first couple of days were the toughest.. and then, it just became part of my daily routine.
The shopping lists allow you to prepare and cook on the weekends, which means less work during the busy work week.
The meals were delicious and satisfying. A few times, I thought the portions were small, but I started to realize that because you eat a few things at each meal, I felt satisfied. At times, I didn’t eat all my lunch and saved for late in the afternoon.
The mojo during the day really helped keep me satisfied… it replaced my coffee habit.
I quickly lost 4 lbs.. It felt great. . Around week 3 I began to notice that I wasn’t as tired in the evenings and that I had a lot of energy to complete chores, etc – even after a full work day! I also noticed that I was sleeping through the night!
Also, I love the support that the forum gives.. its another way to keeps you accountable and engaged in what you’ve committed to do.
I lost between 4-6 lbs (I’ve vacillated) but its more than the weight loss. Its how I feel when I eat, after I eat, when I go to bed, my energy level etc.
I would highly recommend the program to anyone who wants to feel better, look better, live longer.

I had an amazing experience w/ Barbs 28 day transformation challenge. It really helped me understand what healthy eating looks like and gives you amazing recipes that you will be using way past the 28 days! Its the first step to opening your mind and body to feeling your best.
One of the most important details about this challenge is the team of people who you are doing it with….The closed forum provides a safety net of teammates who offer support while Barb offers her expertise on all the questions you have on the day to day.

The 28 Day Transformation Challenge is truly a total mind-body learning experience. Yes, I achieved my weight loss goals. However, the changes in how I think about meals and the new routines I have maintained were the ultimate rewards.
